So here's the short of it, 
Mom had a second epidural steroid injection today. 

And here's the long.

I took a 1/2 sick day today to take Mom for an epidural for her back pain.  

Here's a description I grabbed from a doctor in Fort Wayne who has it posted on the web (not Mom's doc!)

She did just great with it.  She forgot that she was not supposed to eat breakfast, so they weren't able to give her the twilight sleep and she endured it without anything except some local numbing.  She said that it wasn't so bad at all, and seemed to feel some relief right away.

This evening when I checked on her the local numbing had worn off and she was experiencing some pain
