So here's the short of it, 
Mom bought a gazebo kit.  

And here's the long.

Mom's been talking about having a gazebo built for a long time.  Probably even from before they moved to Chattanooga.  So she finally did it!

They delivered a kit a couple of weeks ago, and it's been just waiting.

Today Steve came up from Atlanta and worked on getting it put up.  Valdis came over after his classes and they got a really good start on it.

Of course they worked in that chilly rain turned to drizzle, turned back to rain for most of the afternoon.

Mom's excited about getting it erected to have for company next summer.  Steve had to go back to Atlanta this evening, but Valdis is going to try to get over to do some more work on it tomorrow.
