So here's the short of it,
Will it snow?
And here's the long.
We've had such warm temperatures and no real evidence of winter yet, so today's weather forecast was almost hard to believe - a chance of snow! It was actually rather pleasant this morning - not even any frost on the car windows. By the time I headed home from work the temperature had dropped, the wind was roaring, and teachers were beginning to talk about snow and whether or not we might have a snow day or at least a delayed start.
The wind has continued to howl and here in Brainerd it has spit snow/rain/sleet off and on all evening. I don't expect enough snow for a snow day even if the mountains get that predicted inch, but I suppose there is a possibility that there would be enough ice to have us go on a delay. And that would be a fine way to end this week!
It looks like we're in for a few days of much cooler evenings. But the daytime temps are still going to be pretty warm and after tomorrow early morning it looks like there won't be any precipitation. So it will be a nice long weekend.
