The back flower bed got turned into an herb garden today.
I'd been thinking for a couple of years about converting the flower bed out the back door into an herb garden, and last year Mom and Joyce got it started for me. Unfortunately, I didn't feel like cooking anything or eating anything, so the herbs went mostly unused! This year my taste is so much more like normal; I get hungry and even want to eat!
The Golden Sage overwintered as did the curly parsley. I added garlic chives, onion chives, flat parsley, sweet basil, and lemon thyme. I had put in a rosemary plant earlier this spring.
Next time I take pictures maybe they will be very full and ready for harvest!
