Today the weather has been really beautiful and warm.

Today I had an opportunity to have lunch with a big group of co-workers - intelligent, dedicated, and amazing women (yes today they were all women today at lunch).  We had great work conversation and the weather was wonderful enough for us to eat outside and enjoy the first really wonderful springlike day.

Five of our small group is going to be retiring at the end of this school year.  One will be leaving us in two weeks.  This will be one of those years of really big change.  Of course, it will all be OK, but it sure will be a transition time!  But we've still got 3 months to get through before all that comes to pass for sure.

Tonight it's getting close to bedtime, and Lola kitty hasn't shown up for the evening yet.  I saw her at supper time, but it's so unusual for her not to be around.  I'm hoping she's just out enjoying this wonderful weather.
