Well yes, I'm a little obsessed by the time change.
And here's the long.
I found the map below at Widipedia. It is interesting.
Although not used by most of the world's countries, daylight saving time is common in the Northern Hemisphere's northern latitudes.

It seems that according to those who keep such data, that before the electric light was invented most adults slept about 9 hours per night. Now most adults get about 7 hours of sleep per night. So if we take away an hour of that 7 hours because we have trouble getting used to the change - we are sleep deprived.
No wonder so many of us have problems with memory and attention, complex thought processes, motor responses, controlling our emotions, and performance in school or in our jobs! I also understand that people who have seizures often have more during the time changes.
Wonder why time change is so important when it's obviously not so good for many of us???
