So here's the short of it, 
We're in Tampa. 

And here's the long.

Today was a travel day.  We caught an Allegiant flight out of Knoxville.  The Allegiant days/dates from Chattanooga just didn't work with the schedule we needed, so we just drove up to Knoxville to leave.  Myra and Milko flew in from Philadelphia, so by the time we arrived, got out luggage, and rented a car it was almost time to pick them up at the airport!  Tampa has one of those cell phone parking lots, so we just waited there for a few minutes and then before we knew it, it was time to pick them up.

It was just a short ride to the hotel.  We had worried about whether or not we'd be able to find the room because of the Republican National Convention.  Now, they are all gone and the hotel is just as quiet as it can be.  But there are still lots of decorations and lots of Republican reading materials lying all about the lobby.  I picked up some of that stuff for Mom to read.

Pennie's boys with their families joined us for dinner at a little restaurant/bar that is just across from our hotel.  It was sure nice to get in some good visiting with them.  All the younger kids are just growing so much!

Tomorrow we'll have another good day of visiting.  I'm  really looking forward to it.

For now though, I'm heading to the bed
