So glad to be back at home - but so glad that we were able to go and be with Jen and Charles as they start out their life journey as husband and wife.

Now we're back home and ready to start another week making our own life journey what it is.  Sophie and Lola were delighted to see us.  I'm sure Aimee took great care of them, but Sophie wants us.  Mom made us dinner tonight and I walked down a little before for a visit just the two of us. Alan said that Sophie was just wailing and carrying on as I walked around the curve in the road.  Then he said when he left she did the same.  When we got back home, she calmed down, ate some dinner and then relaxed and fell sound asleep right next to me.

Mom made us dinner tonight.  We had quiche and fruit.  It was really nice not to have to think about making a dinner after having been on the road all day.
