So here's the short of it,
The wedding was quite non-traditional.

And here's the long.

Here are a few of the things I loved about the wedding we went to today.

The couple said vows to their friends and family.
Friends made vows to support the couple in their new life.
There was no bridal party.
Rosie, Jen's dog came to the wedding in a lace collar with a white rose attached and was allowed to roam throughout the venue after the service.
There was a very small wedding cake and then a whole array of delicious cakes and pies made by friends.
There was not a band and DJ.  Instead the couple performed a song as the party got started and then turned the music over to friends, who played and sang the rest of the evening.
Did I mention that Rosie was allowed to roam around the party tent greeting the guests with a quest for scraps (I don't think she got many).
Liga came with us and shared this special event.
There were lots of little children there with their parents to share the occasion.

And of course there was lots of wonderful family there.

Tomorrow we have the long drive home.  I'm sure glad we were here!
