Tonight was the 4th night of Hanukah...

Tonight we had a nice Hanukah diner.  Mia and Clyde joined us and brought a wonderful roasted chicken and root vegetables.  Parsnips, carrots, celery, mushrooms - I loved the parsnips.  Mom came and brought green beans from this summer's garden - they were yummy.  We provided the latke's - there were lots and not many left over!

 We had such a nice time.  Liga came as well as Valdis with Kalie.  They were both such a big help, since my foot really has me handicapped.  After a great dinner and gifts, we had a rousing game of scrabble.  Liga beat us all by a pretty big margin.  We are demanding a re-match!
