So here's the short of it,
It was good to have Valdis and Kalie back in town.

 And here's the long.

Wow - a three day weekend and I don't even have to get up and go in to work tomorrow unless I just want to! Summer time. 


Valdis and Kalie are back from their trip to the beach with her family. They had a front tire blow out on the way down - thank goodness Kalie was able to manage it.  They pulled over to change the tire, and a gentleman stopped and helped them out! Valdis says he'll be paying that forward.  They got back home without any problems and joined us for dinner tonight. Liga was working, but she came home on her dinner break and was able to have dinner with us. 


Aunt Frances and cousin Jonathan came by Mom's this evening. They took Willim over to Duke where he will be studying cryptoghphy for the next couple of weeks.  Then they drove over to Chattanooga so Jon could work with Mom on her taxes.  Alan and I walked down for a short visit after dinner was over here. It was nice to get in a visit 
even though it was a short one. 


I wonder if I'll be able to sleep in tomorrow.
