This is the first year that I've ever grown Cherokee Purple Tomatoes.  It is a beautiful dark purple tomato and it tastes just wonderful.  Tonight Aunt Joyce came down for a night or two and Mom made quiche and I furnished a Cherokee Purple tomato for our salad.  Not only is this tomato a beautiful dark color, it also has a marvelous flavor!  The one I picked today was a bit odd.  It looked like conjoined twins!
