Wow the weather took a turn toward winter this morning!  I don't ever remember snow this early in the year in Chattanooga!  But snow it did.  We already had a 2 hour school delay this morning because of the flooding. So that worked perfectly!  It really didn't snow very much here in the valley, but I heard that it was really beautiful on the Mountain.  There are lots of pictures around on the news and online.  Here's one of my favorites from the online version of our daily paper.  As you can see the roads were absolutely clear - it was just awfully cold.

The Farmer's Almanac calls for this winter to be wet and wild, but our area is not expected to get much snow. So at least we got to see one snow - well those of us in the valley got to see pictures!
