Happy Birthday Mom!
And here's the long.
Today was Mom's birthday. Joyce spent the night with her last night and they went to church together this morning. After church they stopped by for a little visit and then they spent the afternoon together - getting Mom re-acquainted with Facebook, and working a bit outside in all that heat! Joyce had to get back home this evening so she wasn't able to join us for dinner - But Max was!!!
It was so great to have Max came over to spend some time with us and celebrate G-MaMa's birthday. We had a great visit.
Here's a great interlude when he and Poppa were playing cars. He also got a good visit in with Sophie and they really liked one another!
Uncle Waldrus came over and helped us celebrate as well! It was a great evening. Mom and I were talking about how glad we both are that she's living in Chattanooga. It's really comforting to have her right here - just down the road.
