So here's the short of it, 
Today was Mom's birthday!

I think Mom had a nice birthday today.  Steve drove up from Atlanta and spent a good part of the day with her.  He got here pretty early and I think they had a really good visit.  Lauren was headed to Atlanta today and she came through and stopped for a good visit - MaMa and Madison had a good visit!  Happy Birthday Mom.  I'm glad you are here in Chattanooga!

Mom made a crustless quiche for lunch and had garden tomatoes and cucumbers as well as peaches and blueberries and to top it all off her wonderful pound cake for dessert!  It was a lovely lunch - Alan joined us and had a good visit with Steve and Lauren, and brought Mom a dozen red roses for her birthday!

After lunch Steve and Mom and I went down for a visit to the cemetery.  It is such a beautiful place.
